There is still great connection and joy in Nature, but it’s not the same. The complexities of beauty, sadness, regret, pain, responsibility, acceptance, grief, love and other deeply expressed emotions all accumulated from one’s life. The thoughts too deep for tears, to me, is a good description of my mental state. It describes long-term grief, to me.
